Dr. R. V. Bhosle
Leading astronomer in India Dr. R. V. Bhosale passed away on Sunday, June 15. His relationship with astronomy was intertwined until his last breath. He is credited with building the country's first radio telescope. He had played research abroad; But with the feeling that the roots of this work should be further expanded in the motherland, his work in this field became unique.
Rajaram Vishnu Bhosale is' Dr. R. V. Bhosale was known as'. He was born on November 12, 1948. His native village is Bastawade in Kagal taluka. Born into the Bhosale-Patil family, the boy studied in Kolhapur and then moved to Pune and then to the US for higher studies. The Physical Research Laboratory was set up in Ahmedabad by Dr. Vikram Sarabhai. There, Dr. Pvt. K. R. Ramanathan, Dr. C. V. Bhosale along with Raman contributed. The radio telescope built by Bhosale became the first in India. He studied radio waves from the Milky Way and sent his dissertation to Germany, where he received his Ph.D. Retrieved. In Canada, he conducted research on 'Satellite Studies of the Year' and 'Jupiter's Polar Axis and Radiation'. He had played in this work there, but Vikram Sarabhai and Pvt.
He then joined the Shivaji University in Kolhapur as an Emeritus Scientist in the Department of Physics. After twenty years of perseverance, he started a space research center at Panhala to enable research-minded students from rural areas to study the field of space research. Scientists like Murray Dryer from the United States came to the university because of this center. Dr. Abdul A.P.J. When Abdul Kalam or other great scientists came to Kolhapur, they used to visit Awarjun Bhosale. He had set up a solar observatory at Udaipur in collaboration with Dr. Bhatnagar. NASA was selected for research work on Mars. He was working in social work like Kirnotsav in Mahalakshmi temple, Panchganga pollution, conservation of Rankala lake etc. as well as in organizations like Vigyan Prabodhini, Nisargamitra, Marathi Vidyan Parishad etc. He was awarded Kolhapur Bhushan Award and D. Y. Honorable D.Litt. Of Patil University. Was graduated.
