Gulabbai Sangamnerkar

In the rich folk art tradition of Maharashtra, this type of planting has got the place of empress. This folk music, which originated from the soil, has a strong foundation of the cultural traditions of the region. Tradition is the source of innovation and the emergence of new art forms. Gulabbai Sangamnerkar is one of the most important artists who has kept Lavani alive in Maharashtra folk music. Gulabbai, who has the title of 'Lavani Samrajni', decided to devote her entire life to planting. Even if the decision is right, it is very difficult to fulfill. Gulabbai, who started working in the music bar at the age of nine, blossomed the rose of her art and gave its fragrance to the fans.

The planting program presented in front of Yashwantrao Chavan, the sculptor of modern Maharashtra, in Delhi. Along with the actress, her image on the silver screen. But this was the public recognition of Jhali. Many in the life of the artist

There are always ups and downs. As are the days of the glory of art, so is life. Gulabbai was no exception. Even after the untimely demise of two children, Gulabbai did not die. They carried all their bananas. Even at this age, Gulabbai's enthusiasm is commendable.

Gulabbai was born in 1933. His mother, who works in the planting field, had her own music party. So the child of art got from the mother. Gulabbai, who came on the stage at an early age, also acted in Phada's show. He worked for many years in the show of Anandrao Mahajan in Khandesh. The party used to stay in a single village sometimes for eight days and sometimes for a month. Later, after working in the Tamasha Samrat Tukaram Khedkar Party, Gulabbai started her own music business. He later worked at the Arya Bhushan Theater in Pune. He sang in Prakash Inamdar's and Jaimala Inamdar's 'Donkey's Wedding'. Along with his sister Meera, he started an independent party called 'Gulab-Meera Sangamnerkar' at Arya Bhushan Theater. Gulabbai's singing and Meera's dancing skills were the features of this party.

The meaning of the spectacle is deteriorating. Artists have become indebted. Gulabbai's life is broken even today for such artists and spectacles. Although he could not do much on his own due to his age, he is still enthusiastic about maintaining this tradition. While handing over this tradition of planting to Sangamnerkar in his youth, he must be worried about the future. But still he has not given up his focus. The state government has honored Gulabbai Sangamnerkar for her art by announcing 'Tamasha Samrajni Vithabai Narayangaokar Lifetime Achievement Award'.
